With all of the great
new motors coming out and computer technology making
a strong presence in the newer boats, it can be
tough to keep up-to-date with what works with what.
For those of you who have or are purchasing a new(er)
boat, you may be getting one that is
“Smartcraft-ready” - it’s specially designed to work
with Livorsi’s Smartcraft line of gauges.
But, now, thanks to their new ANALOG GAUGE INTERFACE
(AGI), you can use analog gauges with a
computer/“SmartCraftTM ready” engine and, have them
work perfectly! And, based on the table below,
you’ll know exactly which AGI to order - no
guessing. If you’re unsure - call us!!
Installation is very simple. Attach one end of
the AGI to the motor. Snap off the connector covers
for the gauges you are using and make the
connections.
So, if you want a new boat, but prefer analog
gauges, this Analog Gauge Interface will let you use
the gauges you’re comfortable with and get back on
the water.

THE SECRET OF THE LIVORSI®/SMARTCRAFT™
line is the engine's electronic control module (PCM555) which
monitors the desired functions on your boat. The hidden
programming allows for
multiple monitoring in a single gauge. While
continually scanning the engine and environment, info is sent
to the gauges via a digital data connection. This well thought
out line combines over 20 readings into 2 easy-to-read 3"
gauges - a speedo and a tach, each with an LCD readout
panel. In addition to its first class multiple-monitoring, the
Livorsi®
Smartcraft™ design cuts rigging time to a minimum as only 1
cable runs between the engine and the dash. The cable
SNAPS-IN to a junction box mounted at either the engine
or the dash. Simply
SNAP-IN the mini-harness connections on either a System
Speedo, System Tach or System Monitor. A full line of matching
2" link gauges easily
SNAP-IN like Christmas lights, adding even more
versatility.
The gauge is held in place by a large, easy-to-hold, spin-on
nut, no brackets or tools are needed. Simply
SNAP-ON a colored rim. Again, these features save you
time and money.
GAUGE FEATURES INCLUDE
dual lenses for water resistance and backlit dials and
pointers for clear and strong visibility day or night. An
additional sensor allows the oil temp to be monitored and a
Livorsi® Smartcraft™ transducer allows for water depth data to
be sent to the System for display.
ELIMINATE THE GAUGE DEBATE!
Because of the tremendous amount of readings that can be
obtained in a few gauges, limited dash space is no longer an
issue. Even the smallest of dashes can have endless monitoring

What makes Smartcraft™ so smart?
Mercury’s™ remarkable Smartcraft™ line is more than a new
series of gauges that are incredibly easy to connect. (although they’re that,
too!) What makes Smartcraft so smart is how it collects information to display
and then what is actually tells you.
First things first: A truly accurate display has to be one with the source of
information it displays. Your complete works because the hardware communicates
precisely with the software inside it. Smartcraft™ is the same. At Mercury™,
we build all types of Smartcraft™ engines, from 300 HP to 1000HP, yet every
Smartcraft™ display works on any item. How? With an innovative little routine
we created and patented for our system called Auto-detect and Auto-select.
Auto-detect lets you plug a Smartcraft™ System Monitor into any engine without
complicated set-up procedures or false warning alarms. The display quickly
configures itself for the type of engine it’s connected to, including all the
sensors. That’s smart electronics! But it doesn’t stop there. After Smartcraft
detects a sensor, it tells you if the sensor is faulty or not. Once Smartcraft
detects all the sensors, it automatically eliminates displays that aren’t
supported. This way, you won’t have alarms caused by missing information.
The other smart part about Smartcraft™ is what you an do with all this
information. For the first time, boaters can now leave the dock with the
confidence that their on-board system was designed to help them enjoy their
sport. Here’s just a sample of the kinds of new information Smartcraft™ can
deliver.
